This beautiful 1 Oz Silver coin is the second release in the new “Disney Villains” series, dedicated to some of Disney’s most famous antagonists. In this edition – Maleficent. The coin features a wonderful colouration, has a lovely design and comes in a book shaped case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage to 10.000 pieces worldwide.
The reverse of the coin features a full colour image of the menacing Maleficent from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. She is pictured holding her scepter along with the engraved phrase “Mistress of all Evil”. On the top-left of the reverse, the inscriptions: “1 oz 999 Fine Silver” – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver and “Disney”. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “NIUE” – the issuing country, “TWO DOLLARS” – the face value and “2018” – the year of issue.
